"5 years ago my anxiety was so terrible I’d go a month at a time unable to eat anything but applesauce and soup. Thus began my fitness journey when a good friend suggested running outside and squats to get me hungry. From there I pushed myself to go to college, gained a boyfriend (and healthy weight) and was happy.
After 3 years of bliss, my devastating breakup last fall brought me right back to being unable to eat and rapid weight loss. But this time I loved myself enough to go to the gym and lift weights which over time fueled my appetite and allowed me to push past my limits. Today I have a new job, more confidence, and faith within myself to conquer the hard times no matter what life brings. #justthebegining

@fittsquirrel "November 29 2016 to today (Nov 11 2017). I haven't weighed myself recently but I'm guessing I weigh the same. Possibly more. Haven't stepped foot on a treadmill in MONTHS. Only been back to the gym for a week after a 5 week break where I ate whatever I wanted and slept a lot. And drank a lot. "Weight lifting makes you manly" 
LOL. While I was feeling bad for myself and taking a much needed mental and physical break someone said to me "that's the great thing about lifting vs cardio, gains stay" not gonna lie I lost a lot more strength than I thought I would but I'm still feeling pretty good bout myself πŸ˜‹"

"Around the 2nd week of September I started Gabbys Gain Guide!!! I've always been into health and fitness but I've never been satisfied with my image. I've also never really had any upper body definition, but after finishing Phase 1, I am so proud with my results! Of course it's not a HUGE difference just because my eating hasn't been 100% this whole time ( I eat good for the most part), but after this weekend I will start
Phase 2 and plan on doing it twice as well as getting my diet 100% right. Definitely plan on incorporating more cardio since I really haven't done much at all since I started these workouts. The top pic was taken on September 12th (literally had no definition), the middle pic was taken September 28th and the bottom one was taken on October 17th. I honestly never thought I would enjoy lifting so much until I came across this guide β€ thank you Gabby!!!!! Can't wait to see my end result, progress is what keeps me going!πŸ‘ŠπŸΌπŸ’ͺ🏼"

"This summer I did an internship away from home, so I didn't have a comfortable schedule for a good 2 months and lifting (as well as good eating) really went to trash. Once I got back to my university, I started back on Gabby's Guides and actually being conscious about not over eating (some academic stress probably added to it too) and taking BCAAs during workouts. I haven't weighed myself, nor do I plan to, but I wanted to post to say that the difference between these two photos honestly manifests in how I feel about myself - and I'm in a good place! Hoping I can keep it up over the school year. You ladies are my motivation! πŸ’•"

The ebook not only allowed me to lose weight and gain muscle, but her tips and commentary made me realize how unrealistic social media has become and to accept and love my own body. @fittsquirrel "One of my least favorite parts of my body was always my legs. They always seemed so disproportionate to the rest of me. Which is hilarious now that I look back at pictures from college of them. They were tiny?! But since I've turned some of that skinny fat into muscle I looove them. Seriously sometimes when I wear shorts I just admire the crap out of my quads. Last night I picked my 6ft 160lb boyfriend up and carried him through the house cradled in my arms like a baby. I love that I'm growing and getting stronger. You guys are all so supportive and bless you Gabbyfor your guide. Which I'm doing a second time right now πŸ˜˜β€β€β€πŸ’ͺ🏻

My new year's resolution was to start working out which I started in January but I didn't know what I was doing in the gym and didn't start lifting consistently/correctly until GGGv1 came out in March. My results are 100% from the guide...just following the workouts, progressively increasing weights, being consistent, and eating lots"
